Effugia

Effugia is an exploration puzzle game where you collect items to escape the infinite city you have been trapped into. However, whatever trapped you here seems to have plans to make you rethink the actions that led you here. How much of a hero are you?

This game was developed for my final project of year 1 in my Level 3 Games Development course. The project was to create a tech demo, character design or environment design to fit the theme of Forgotten Realms. Due to a recent interest in liminal environments, I decided to make an infinite procedurally generated city that the player would need to escape. I may have slightly overshot the idea of a tech demo, but it isn't fully complete with everything I wanted this to do.

This version of the game is the final build of the project, it is not fully complete as it lacks elements like the puzzles, but that would be impossible to fit in the already tight time constraints the project set.
